This Grain-free Frosted Banana Bars Recipe is so delicious, especially when topped with our Lemon Icing recipe, mmmm. We really hope you try it, if you haven’t yet. And you’ll be surprised at how simple it is to make too! It came about because I had some overly ripe, ok black bananas, on my counter and wasn’t about to throw them away. I’ve made delicous banana bread, and amazing Caramel Sticky Buns with black bananas, so I decided to try something else that I could share it with you.

Grain-free Frosted Banana Bars Recipe
- 3/4 cup almond or coconut milk
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 2 hormone free eggs
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon pure organic liquid stevia
- 1 teaspoon pure organic vanilla extract
- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 1 cup tapioca starch
- 2/3 cup banana flour
- 1/3 cup organic unsweetened coconut (grated)
- 1 level teaspoon baking soda
- 1 level teaspoon organic gluten free, aluminum free baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pink himalayan sea salt
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Grease a large 13x18x1″ cookie sheet with coconut oil
- Place all “Wet Ingredients” in the blender and blend until smooth, set aside.
- Place all “Dry Ingredients” together in a large bowl. Stir together.
- Pour Wet Ingredients in with Dry Ingredients, then mix well with a hand mixer.
- Pour mixture into the cookie sheet and place in oven.
- Bake 20-24 minutes.
- Remove and cool completely
- Frost with Lemon Icing
